Police identified yesterday the woman who was found shot to death in Leakin Park Dec. 27 as Novella "Peaches" Brown, 41, of the 3600 block of W. Lexington St.

Detective Kirk Hastings said dental records were used to identity Brown, the mother of three.

Police said Brown was shot several times in the upper body. A pedestrian found her body, covered with debris and snow, in the woods off the 4500 block of Hutton Ave.

Hastings said no arrest has been made.
