The dates for the gritty, urban Australian dance show, "Dein Perry's Steel City," at the Lyric Opera House, have been changed from Feb. 2-7 to April 6-11. The delay is due to the size of the show, which will travel in at least 10 trucks, requiring multiple days to load the set into each theater, according to Nicholas A. Litrenta, president of Performing Arts Productions, which books the Lyric.
The production makes its American debut at New York's Radio City Music Hall on Jan. 26.
Tickets to the Lyric engagement will not be reissued. Instead, theatergoers who already have tickets will be able to use them for the corresponding day in April. For more information, call 410-494-2712.
