Shooting: A male, 16, was standing outside a tavern in the 100 block of N. Glover St. on Sunday when two men asked him for a light. Before the youth responded, one of the men pulled a handgun and struck him in the face with it. The youth began to flee and the gunman shot him in the left shoulder. The men fled and the youth was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Shooting: A man, 36, was walking in the first block of N. Pulaski St. about 1 a.m. yesterday when he heard several gunshots and then fell to the ground after he suffered a graze wound to the side of the head. The man walked to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was treated.
Robbery/shooting: A man, 19, was standing outside his home in the 1000 block of E. Biddle St. about 5 p.m. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200. After the robbery, the gunman shot the victim in the right leg and back. The victim was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.
Shooting: A man was shot in the right leg during an argument with another man about 6: 40 p.m. Sunday in a house in the 900 block of N. Madeira St. The victim, 24, was in fair condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.
Thefts/arrest: A man, 37, was arrested Sunday when he tried to leave Stop Shop Save supermarket in the 900 block of N. Caroline St. without paying for eight bars of soap, valued at $17. At the same store yesterday, a woman was given a citation to appear in court when she tried to leave without paying for health products valued at $7.
Theft from vehicle: While the owner was at church, tools and an air pump, all valued at nearly $600, were stolen Sunday from a 1992 Pontiac van parked in the 1200 block of E. North Ave..
Theft from vehicle: Passports belonging to two citizens of India and valued at $300 were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 5400 block of York Road.
Burglary/arrest: A man suspected of stealing weapons from a house in the 10700 block of Harford Road late Saturday was arrested a half-mile from the home. Officer Steven Mee was investigating the break-in when he spotted the man, who was carrying a handgun and walking along Harford Road near Placid Avenue. The man had fallen into Gunpowder Falls while fleeing. Mitchell Leroy Pamplin, 34, of the 2800 block of Harford Road in Baltimore was charged Sunday with burglary, theft and destruction of property. A 9 mm rifle was recovered, but a .380-caliber handgun and .22-caliber rifle are missing.
North Point Precinct
Arson/arrests: Five boys between 13 and 16 were arrested Sunday and charged with second-degree arson in the burning of a door at the county Bureau of Recreation and Parks in the 1900 block of Delvale Ave. They were arrested shortly after the fire was reported.
Robbery try: A woman, 40, was at Main Street and Avon Beach Road about 7: 30 p.m. Sunday when a man who demanded her purse. The woman refused and screamed, the man knocked her down and fled.
