Shooting: A man, 21, was in the 1600 block of E. 28th. St. about 9 p.m. Saturday when another man shot him in the abdomen. The victim was in guarded condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A motive for the shooting was unknown.
Burglary: A pair of boots, two overcoats and a check for $2,000 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 300 block of S. Mount St.
Robbery try/shooting: A man, 41, was in the 4800 block of Park Heights Ave. about 5: 45 p.m. yesterday when a gunman demanded his money. When the victim said he had none and turned, the gunman shot him in the lower back and fled. The victim was in stable condition last night at Sinai Hospital.
Robbery: A woman, 76, was inside a grocery store in the 900 block of E. Eager St. about 8: 30 a.m. Saturday when a man demanded her money. Before the woman could reply, the man removed a change purse containing $6 from her coat pocket.
Robbery: Two men, one with a 9 mm handgun, robbed AMF Bowling Lanes in the 2100 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 8: 35 a.m. yesterday . The men used duct tape to tie the hands and cover the mouths of two employees. A third employee who entered while the robbery was in progress was forced onto the floor. No injuries were reported and the suspects were seen running toward the nearby light rail station.
Carjacking/arrest: The owner of a 1997 Nissan Quest was fueling his car at an Amoco station in the 6000 block of Liberty Road about 9 a.m. yesterday when a gunman entered the vehicle and drove off. A half-hour later, county and city police spotted the vehicle and pursued it until the driver lost control on a patch of ice on Post Road in the city's Howard Park section and crashed into two houses. Jeremiah Horton, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with armed carjacking, armed robbery, assault and resisting arrest and was being held on $100,000 bond at the precinct.
Burglary: Someone entered a house under construction in the 14000 block of Woodens Lane in Reisterstown Saturday through a rear sliding-glass door and stole a gas range, two nail guns, boxes of tile and other construction materials and equipment, all valued at nearly $6,000.
Carjacking: A man was about to enter his 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier after delivering pizza in the first block of Bannock Court about 1 a.m. Saturday when a gunman ordered him to the ground and drove off in the car. A few blocks away, police recovered the car. No arrest had been made.

Youth charged: Homicide Detective David Peckoo said Sharron Stewart, 17, of the 3200 block of Gulfport Drive in Cherry Hill, was charged Saturday afternoon as an adult with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting Friday of another teen-ager. Peckoo said Stewart was being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center. Raymond Antonio Graham, of the 1100 block of E. North Ave. was shot inside Stewart's home during an argument about girls.
