Homicide: A man, 46, who was assaulted in the 3600 block of Ninth St. in Brooklyn at 11 p.m. Wednesday died last night at Maryland Shock Trauma Center of injuries to the head and upper body. Detective Gregory MacGillivary said Iran Yusef Abdullah of the 1500 block of Northwick Road was attacked by several men for no apparent reason. No arrests have been made.
Burglary: Jewelry and video games, all valued at $1,310, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 600 block of Hillview Road.
Carjacking: A gunman forced a woman, 30, out of her 1991 Honda Civic with tags ZRZ 839 in the 600 block of Washington Blvd. about 7 p.m. Wednesday and drove off.
Burglary: An antique phonograph, stereo equipment, china cabinet, 15-inch television, antique marble table and other property, all valued at nearly $1,500, were stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Guilford Ave. between Dec. 15 and Wednesday.
Burglary: Jewelry, 23-inch TV and a microwave oven, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen from a house in the 800 block of Glenwood Ave. between Sunday and Wednesday by someone who entered through a door.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: A Kawasaki dirt bike valued at $250 was stolen from a shed Wednesday in the 9100 block of Avenue A.
Burglary: Two rings, necklaces and a watch, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 7800 block of Collingham Drive.
Theft: Someone stole two field glasses valued at nearly $300 from Ritz Camera in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. on Wednesday.
Burglary: A 26-inch mountain bicycle valued at $800 was stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 8500 block of Harris Ave.
Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $1,400 was stolen from MADD in the 7400 block of York Road overnight Tuesday by someone who entered through a door.
Burglary: Watches valued at more than $1,000 were stolen from Jewelry & Watch Repair Center at Hunt Valley Mall between Dec. 23 and Dec. 31. The burglary was reported Wednesday.

Suspect arrested: A man charged with the armed carjacking of a woman's 1991 Honda Accord outside a Dorchester County gas station Oct. 18 and who fled when it crashed outside a nearby town was arrested in downtown Baltimore yesterday after an FBI agent spotted the man driving a stolen Kia he was using as an unlicensed cab. Arrested at West Saratoga and Greene streets about 4 p.m. when he tried to flee after the Kia struck a curb was Brian Wendell Vandiver, 32, of the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. Vandiver was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
