Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shootings: Two males, one 21 and the other 17, were walking in the 100 block of Warwick Ave. about 9: 25 p.m. Tuesday when they were approached by two gunmen who ordered them not to run. However, the victims ran and were shot. Police said the teen was shot in the right hip and the man in the lower back and both legs. Both victims were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where the youth was in good condition yesterday and the man in critical condition.

Southern District

Robbery: A man, 28, was in the 500 block of Washburn Ave. about 11 p.m. Tuesday when a man threatened him with a knife and robbed him of $9.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Clothing valued at more than $1,300 was stolen from a 1997 Jeep Cherokee parked in the 1400 block of N. Charles St. on Tuesday.

Western District

Robbery try/shooting: A man, 22, was in the 700 block of Appleton St. about 2 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman demanded his money. When the victim was slow to comply, the gunman shot him in the upper left leg. The gunman fled without taking any money and the victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Robbery: A man, 58, was walking in the 1000 block of E. North Ave. about 1: 35 p.m. Tuesday when he was assaulted by another man who robbed him of $500. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for an injury to his left eye.

Robbery/arrest: A gunman robbed Stylistics, a clothing store at Old Town Mall, of $24 and clothing valued at more than $30 about 2 p.m. Tuesday. A man was arrested a short distance away after a witness pointed him out to police. Charged with armed robbery and related charges was Kevin Johnson, 35, of the 800 block of McAleer Court.

Northern District

Burglary: Someone entered Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church in 1000 block of W. 36th St. Tuesday through the front door and stole computer equipment valued at $2,000. There was no evidence the break-in was related to yesterday's fire at the church, police said.

Burglary: Several pieces of computer equipment valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Avon Ave. by someone who entered through a bedroom window.

Theft: A man stole alcoholic beverages Tuesday valued at $32 from Kitty's Lounge in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave.

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1996 Toyota parked in the 600 block of Winston Ave. on Tuesday and stole a wallet containing cash, credit cards and personal papers, all valued at $70.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Theft: A man entered Cigarette Depot in the 3200 block of North Point Road on Tuesday and filled a large plastic trash bag with 28 cartons of Newport cigarettes valued at more than $700 and fled as an employee attempted to stop him.

Theft/arrests: Two teen-age boys from East Baltimore were arrested Tuesday when they attempted to leave Value City in the 7700 block of Eastern Blvd. without paying for clothing valued at $300.

Burglary: Stereo equipment, compact discs and an electric drill, all valued at $500, were stolen from a house in the 2000 block of Larkhall Road between Dec. 31 and Saturday while the occupant was away. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Towson Precinct:

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of Ruxton Road on Tuesday through a side door and stole nearly $200 in coins, and a 14-karat gold and diamond ring of unknown value.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at more than $11,000 was stolen from a house in the first block of Sherwood Road on Tuesday.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Rosalie Ave. by someone who entered through a basement window.

Theft: A 27-inch television valued at nearly $300 was stolen from the living room of a house in the 300 block of Bigley Ave. on Dec. 28. by a known suspect. The theft was reported Tuesday.
