Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Central District

Stabbing: A man was stabbed in the neck, chest and side about 1: 20 p.m. yesterday during an argument with another man in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St. and was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. After he was stabbed, the victim stumbled into a clothing store, where police found him. No arrest had been made.

Southern District

Shooting: A man was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday after he was shot five times by another man in the 300 block of S. Fulton Ave. about 12: 15 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was shot twice in an arm, once in a leg and twice in the chest. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

Arson: An unoccupied car was set ablaze in the 300 block of S. Fremont Ave. about 7: 30 p.m. Tuesday. Damage was set at more than $5,000.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed two brothers of their leather jackets and wallets, all valued at more than $200, about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of W. Pratt St.

Robbery: A man, 22, was in the 1700 block of Wilkens Ave. about 7 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $200.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered a Fire Department station in the 3100 block of W. North Ave. about Dec. 2 and stole a computer hard drive of unknown value. The theft was reported Tuesday.

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, cash, two BB guns and a video game, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Tuesday from Abington Grocery in the first block of Abington Ave.

Burglary: A 27-inch television and a 13-inch television, both valued at more than $700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 300 block of Athol Ave.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 36, of $12 about 3 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of Garrison Blvd.

Robbery: A man struck another man in the head and robbed him of more than $100 Tuesday in the first block of S. Payson St. The victim, 31, suffered a 2-inch-long cut but refused medical treatment.

Northern District

Theft: A cellular phone, radar detector, three coffee mugs, a briefcase, sunglasses and 16 compact discs, all valued at more than $1,300, were stolen Tuesday from a 1998 Honda parked in the 3400 block of N. Charles St.

Burglary: A television, two telephones, two watches, gold cuff links, a diamond ring and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $1,800, were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 5500 block of Lothian Road.

Garrison Precinct

Rape: A man drove a woman he met through the Internet last week to Prettyboy Reservoir and raped her during a date Monday night. After the attack, he drove her to her Carroll County home. After reporting the incident, the woman, 21, was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center's rape crisis center. Police were seeking a gray Ford Explorer with unknown tags.

Burglary: Four handguns, all valued at more than $1,100, were stolen Dec. 10 from a house in the 100 block of Slade Ave. The thefts were reported Tuesday. Taken were two Smith & Wesson revolvers, a Ruger semiautomatic pistol and a Llama handgun.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A 24-inch mountain bicycle valued at $250 was stolen Tuesday from a garage in the first block of Flintlock Court.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A diamond engagement ring valued at $400 was stolen overnight Monday from a house in the 6500 block of Falkirk Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Vandalism: Police were seeking a gray car with a loud exhaust system in the destruction of two mailboxes in Freeland on Monday night. The mailboxes, one in the 1400 block of Oakland Road and the other in the 900 block of Old Barn Court, were destroyed when carbon dioxide cartridges placed inside them were detonated.

Burglaries: Someone entered two garages in the 12300 block of Cleghorn Road overnight Monday and stole a stereo radio system from one vehicle and two cellular phones and cash from another.

Garrison Precinct

Carjacking: A woman, 35, was about to enter her 1994 Honda Accord, with tags CLE 891, in the 8200 block of Liberty Road about 2: 40 p.m. Tuesday when a man shoved her to the pavement and drove off.

Burglary: Tools and a radio, all valued at more than $800, were stolen from Cherrydale-Harmon Glass Shops in the 10000 block of Reisterstown Road through a side door between Friday and Tuesday.

Burglary: A compact disc player, cellular phone, purse and bicycle were stolen from a garage in the 12000 block of Sagamore Forest Lane on Tuesday.
