THE BALTIMORE SUN

Baltimore County police arrested one man and were seeking another yesterday in the fatal shooting Tuesday of one teen-ager and the wounding of another.

Police spokeswoman Cpl. Vickie Warehime said Panagoitis Skordalos, 20, whose address was not available, was arrested yesterday afternoon at an unknown location in the county on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the death of James Darnell Oakley, 17, of the first block of N. Port St. in Baltimore.

A second youth, whose name was not released, was wounded and was in fair condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Warehime said Skordalos was being held without bail at the county's Detention Center.

Warehime said police were seeking Adam L. Hammond, 18, of Sollers Point Road in Dundalk, who was charged in a warrant with first-degree murder and attempted murder.
