Have a blast Monday evening with Baltimore Blast Indoor Soccer League player Lance Johnson at the new Barnes & Noble Towson Circle store. Listen in as Johnson reads some of his favorite childhood stories as well as a few sports stories. Kick around a soccer ball with him and watch as he shows off some fancy footwork and teaches soccer tricks. Barnes & Noble presents stories and soccer fun with a different Blast player the first Monday of each month.

Walk off those holiday calories today and tomorrow around Columbia with the Freestate Happy Wanderers. Take your pick of three trails (two 10K walks and one 6K walk) each day, beginning at the Owen Brown Community Center. Trails run through communities, circle the lake and generally follow bicycle paths. All walks are noncompetitive.
