Maryland senior forward Laron Profit and junior guard Steve Francis are among 30 players listed as midseason candidates for the John R. Wooden All-American Team and Player of the Year honors. The midseason top 30 is based on performances through the first half of the season as determined by the Wooden Award Committee.
The Wooden Award Trophy and All-America Team presentations will be held April 2 in Los Angeles and will be televised live on Fox Sports Net at 7 p.m.
