Fires

Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Gamber and West Friendship, Howard County, responded at 11: 46 a.m. Saturday to an oven fire in the 7600 block of Schoolhouse Road. Units were out 29 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters from Sykesville, Gamber, Winfield and West Friendship, Howard County, responded at 6: 33 a.m. Saturday to a dryer fire in the 7300 block of Second Ave. Units were out 26 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 9: 10 a.m. Thursday to a smoke detector alarm in the 2300 block of Todd Lane.
