Mount Airy: Firefighters assisted Montgomery County at 6: 50 p.m. Monday, responding to a house fire in the 26500 block of Howard Chapel Drive. Units were out 57 minutes.

Mount Airy: Firefighters responded at 8: 52 a.m. Monday to illegal burning in the 5400 block of Buffalo Road. Units were out 47 minutes.
