Rouse elects Fuchs a vice president
The Rouse Co. announced the election of Janice Allan Fuchs as vice president, director of human resources and administrative services for the Columbia-based commercial property developer.
A graduate of Columbia College in Missouri, she has been with the company since 1981, most recently as director of special projects in the operating properties division.
Mark Gaber is controller at Renaissance Harborplace
Renaissance Harborplace Hotel appointed Mark Gaber as controller. He will oversee accounting operations at Renaissance Harborplace and five other area hotels. The Ellicott City resident formerly was an area controller for the Marriott chain. He is a
graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Hatcher, Berndt appointed Saval vice presidents
Saval Foods, a Baltimore-based maker and distributor of delicatessen meats and delicatessen products, appointed two new vice presidents: Richard W. Hatcher, merchandising, and Bob Berndt, sales.
Hatcher, former vice president of sales for JP Foods-Baltimore, will be responsible for the firm's sales, purchasing and marketing functions. Berndt joined the family owned and operated business in 1994 as sales manager. He formerly was with General Food Supply.

Glen Burnie Bank promotes Cleveland, Rayburn
The Bank of Glen Burnie appointed Joyce Cleveland and Arlene Rayburn as assistant vice president/branch managers. Both have been with the bank for more than 20 years.
Cleveland will head the Riviera Beach branch, where she will oversee branch growth and development as well as maintain market share and customer satisfaction. A graduate of the Maryland Banking School, she most recently was assistant manager of the bank's Severn branch. Rayburn will oversee daily operations and teller management of its new Ferndale branch.
Kaylor named senior VP at Gray, Kirk/VanSant
Gray, Kirk/VanSant promoted Barbara Brotman Kaylor to senior vice president, public relations department. She joined the Baltimore ad agency with its 1997 merger with Image Dynamics, where she was president.
A graduate of Lynchburg College, the Owings Mills resident is active in several business and professional organizations, including the Advertising Association of Baltimore, Baltimore Goodwill Industries and the Baltimore Birds Flying Club. Kaylor is also a certified commercial pilot and licensed flight instructor as well as president of AIR Inc., a flight school.
Miller Group names Brody a vice president
The Miller Group named Meghan Grant Brody a vice president of the Towson-based regional ad and public relations firm.
Brody is responsible for account service supervision, media management and new business development. Formerly an account executive with the agency, the Western Maryland College graduate is a resident of Cockeysville.
