Just for kids Something to smile about

THE BALTIMORE SUN

GO OUT ON A LIMB: We've got something to smile about. Edward Tarr, an enterprising dentist from Tulsa, Okla., has invented Funky Brushlets - fun, twisted toothbrushes kids can use, then turn into wacky bracelets. You just soak the toothbrush in warm water to remove the bristles, bend the brush into the shape you want and soak it in cold water to set the shape. Brushlets come in four styles: a fish, snake, eye and smiley face, and six colors: yellow, blue, clear, green, hot pink and orange. They sell for about $5. To get more info or to order the Funky Brushlet, call (877) 480-9942. Go ahead, grin and wear it!

GIVE A GROOVY GRIN: Don't be all talk when it comes to fashion - try a look that everyone will be talking about: Tooth Art! Two dentists have taken body art to a new extreme with these temporary tattoos. They're decals that stick to the front teeth for hours, then come off easily. (Are we running out of body parts to adorn or what?) Flash your crush a toothy grin while wearing the heart tattoo; make your mom jump with the frog tattoo; or stick on a star, flower, happy face, butterfly or peace sign. Packs of 16 sell for under $5; start looking at Walgreen's and other discount stores. (But be patient; the product is so new it's not in lots of stores yet.)
