Robbery/arrests: A Baltimore man and a Howard County woman were arrested Tuesday and charged with robbing a woman, 71, at knifepoint in the 3600 block of Labyrinth Road on Monday and then using her credit cards to purchase items at a Target store in Ellicott City. Althea Hawkins, 26, of the 5800 block of Stevens Forest Road in Columbia, and Andre Lance, 27, of the 4400 block of Groveland Ave. in Forest Park were charged with armed robbery and assault with intent to murder.
Shooting: A man, 19, was shot in the left arm while fleeing from a gunman, who tried to rob him in the 4500 block of Manordene Road about 9 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was treated at St. Agnes HealthCare.
Theft: A purse, cash, clothing and 15 compact discs, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 1990 Isuzu pickup truck parked in the 600 block of Portland St.
Theft: Two mountain bikes, valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from the yard of a house in the 100 block of W. Hughes St.
Cutting: A man was stabbed nearly a dozen times with an unknown sharp weapon during a fight with another man about 12: 05 a.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of E. Oliver St. The victim was in good condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Hospital. A suspect was being sought.
Burglary: Hand and power tools, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1000 block of N. Chester St.
Robbery: A man, 36, was walking in the 300 block of W. 39th St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday when two teen-age males on bicycles, one with a handgun, robbed him of his wallet and $46.

Theft/arrest: A girl, 17, was arrested Tuesday when she attempted to leave Hecht's department store at Golden Ring Mall without paying for cologne valued at more than $230.
Burglary: A microwave oven and electronic games, all valued at $700, were stolen Tuesday from a townhouse in the first block of Fontana Lane.
Theft: Computer equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a classroom at Essex Community College in the 7200 block of Rossville Blvd. between Dec. 11 and Monday.

Suspect arrested: The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Tuesday arrested Walter Sheppard, 17, at his home in the 4000 block of Biddison Lane. He had been sought on a warrant charging him as an adult with first-degree murder in the death of Shonte Robinson, 22, of the 700 block of Benninghaus Road. Robinson was shot on Dec. 11 in the 6600 block of Hampnett Ave. Detective Danny Danzy said Sheppard is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
