Krywonis scores 43, but Dulaney falls, 70-62

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Some good news for Dulaney was that its star player, 6-foot-7 Romas Krywonis, scored his personal-best 43 points against 15th-ranked Catonsville last night.

The bad news? Krywonis scored 43 points.

That's because the next highest scorer for the Lions (2-2 overall, 0-1 Baltimore County) in a 70-62 loss was Colin Stevens, who had seven points in the Baltimore County Hoopsters' Division opener for both squads.

The visiting Comets (4-0, 1-0), meanwhile, received scoring from nine different players, led by William Augustono (16 points, eight rebounds), Steve Roblin (15 points, eight assists) and Steve Remesch (10 points).

Catonsville (15-for-19 from the free throw line) led by as many as 18 points in the second half and withstood a 20-point fourth period by Krywonis, who also had 15 rebounds.
