Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Drug arrests: Police blocked off streets in Butchers Hill and the northern section of Canton during "Operation Christmas Tree" over the weekend and arrested 24 people on drug charges, including a man in possession of three grams of suspected cocaine. In the man's 1994 Lexus, police found $8,500 and a 9 mm handgun, said Lt. Carmine Baratta. All those arrested were processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Theft: A mountain bicycle valued at $300 was stolen Saturday in the 500 block of E. Fort Ave.
Robbery: A gunman robbed La Pizza, a carryout restaurant in the 3100 block of Frederick Ave., of nearly $200 about 11 p.m. Sunday.
Theft: A trip meter and a two-way radio, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Sunday from a taxicab in the 3200 block of W. Baltimore St.
Burglary: A recording device and computer equipment were stolen from an office at St. Agnes HealthCare in the 900 block of Caton Ave. over the weekend.
Robbery/arrests: Officer Charles Sadowski III arrested three males after the armed robbery of a man in the 2000 block of E. Federal St. about 2 p.m. Sunday. Charged with armed robbery were Travis Loyal, 17, of the 2800 block of E. Madison St.; John Brooks, 20, of the 1800 block of Regester St. and Steven Heggie, 18, of the 1000 block of N. Kenwood Ave. Sadowski arrested them without incident after the victim pointed them out near the robbery scene. A 9 mm handgun believed used in the robbery was recovered.
White Marsh Precinct
Robbery: Three men, one with a handgun, entered an apartment in the first block of Gemini Court about 9: 10 p.m. Sunday, tied four occupants and stole a videocassette recorder and several electronic games.
Theft: Several gold rings of unknown value were stolen Sunday from Golden Names 2 at Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd.
Burglary: Someone entered Bay State Pellet Distributors in the 7100 block of Golden Ring Road with a key and stole $500 Saturday.
Assault/arrests: Two males, both 17, were arrested early Sunday and charged with assaulting at least three people with darts shot from a blowgun. The victims were struck in separate incidents on Old Eastern Avenue as two youths drove by in a car. Police believe the suspects also assaulted two people with darts in the White Marsh area. No serious injuries were reported.
Burglary: Two televisions and a videocassette recorder, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Sunday from a house in the 13000 block of S. Seneca St.
Robbery/arrests: Three teen-age males were arrested Sunday and charged with assaulting a man, 22, with brass knuckles and robbing him of money at Old Eastern Avenue and Glenwood Road about 3: 30 a.m. Sunday.
Robbery: A gunman robbed the Exxon minimart in the 10300 block of Red Run Blvd. of more than $100 about 1: 20 a.m. Saturday.
Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed High's dairy store in the 1000 block of Liberty Road of more than $100 about 10: 15 p.m. Sunday.
Robbery: After telling an employee they were reporting for work, two men entered Sony Valley Centre Cinemas in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road about 10: 15 p.m. Sunday and robbed the business of more than $100.

Victim identified: A man fatally shot in the 1800 block of N. Port St. about 4: 30 p.m. Sunday has been identified as Danzel Lamont Chestnut, 29, of the 3500 block of Juneway.
Man identified: A homeless man, whose burned body was found after firefighters put out a fire in a garage in the 400 block of E. Lafayette Ave. on Thursday night, has been identified as Bennett Guntt, about 30.
