Alleged gun theft victim arrested on drug charges

A 48-year-old Baltimore man who called police to his home yesterday to investigate the theft of a handgun was arrested when officers found heroin and cocaine in the basement of his two-story rowhouse with an estimated street value of $30,000, police said.

Robert Kason of the 800 block of Druid Park Lake Drive was charged with possession of illegal drugs, possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Facility pending a bail hearing.
