Convicted drug seller arrested after being sentenced day before Term suspended; man accused of selling again

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Tuesday morning, Warner Brandon was convicted of selling drugs in Remington and sentenced to seven years in prison -- all of it suspended.

The next night, he was arrested by police in the same neighborhood and charged with peddling heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

Brandon, 48, of the 2800 block of Fox St. in Remington was charged with two counts of drug distribution, and is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center, said Major Robert F. Biemiller, commander of the Northern District.

"We constantly go to community meetings and get banged by people who ask why don't we put these guys away," said Biemiller. The Circuit Court judge who sentenced Brandon could not be reached for comment.

Biemiller said undercover drug officers spotted a man selling drugs to three customers about 7 p.m. Wednesday at 28th and Fox streets. They arrested Brandon. Police also seized 27 gel caps of suspected heroin, two vials of suspected cocaine and a bag of marijuana.

Shortly after a car containing the three people drove off, undercover officers stopped the vehicle and charged the passengers with possession of narcotics.

Processed at Central Booking were William Fox, 33, of the 2600 block of Miles Ave.; Suzanne Montgomery, 30, of the 2600 block of Huntingdon Ave.; and Thomas Gaynor, 48, of the 1300 block of S. Charles St., Biemiller said.
