Devils: Ken Daneyko became New Jersey's career leader in games played Tuesday night with 935, breaking the mark held by John MacLean. Daneyko spent his entire career with New Jersey, playing his first game on Oct. 5, 1983. The defenseman was selected 18th overall by the Devils in the 1982 entry draft.

Islanders: New York has lost six straight games and nine of 11 to fall into ninth place in the Eastern Conference.
