Mount Airy: Firefighters responded to a brush fire in the 7000 block of Watersville Road at 12: 20 p.m. Monday. Units were out 27 minutes.

Mount Airy: Firefighters from Mount Airy and Winfield responded to a wood-pile fire at 12: 43 p.m. Monday in the 14000 block of Harrisville Road in Frederick County.

Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield and New Market, Frederick County, transferred an engine to Mount Airy at 1: 20 p.m. Monday. Units were out an hour and 42 minutes.

Winfield: Firefighters responded at 3: 42 p.m. Monday to a brush fire in the 2500 block of Sams Creek Road. Units were out 58 minutes.
