Robbery suspect arrested: The FBI and city robbery squad officers yesterday arrested Andre Victor McLaughlin, 34, who was charged in a warrant with the March 13 robbery of Provident Bank of Maryland in the Edmondson Village Shopping Center in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. David R. Knowlton, special agent in charge of the FBI's Baltimore office, said McLaughlin was arrested at his home in the first block of Pecan Lane in the Victory Villa section of Essex. McLaughlin was being held at the Woodlawn Precinct, pending an initial appearance today in U.S. District Court in Baltimore.
Shooting: A man, 19, was walking in the 3100 block of Wolcott Ave. about 6 p.m. Monday when another man fired two shots, hitting him once in the right forearm. He was treated at Liberty Medical Center.
Shooting: A man, 20, was walking in the 2700 block of Spellman Road about 2 a.m. yesterday when he heard several gunshots and felt pain in his right leg. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center with a bullet wound in the right hip.
Rape: Police were seeking a man who raped a girl, 14, behind a house in the 1900 block of E. Chase St. about 8: 30 p.m. Monday. The girl was treated at Mercy Medical Center and released.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: A handgun, cash and computer equipment, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Monday from a house in the 11100 block of Red Lion Road.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: Two televisions valued at $270 were stolen Monday from a house in the 600 block of Peach Orchard Lane.
Burglary: Jewelry and checks, all valued at more than $100, were stolen Monday from a house in the 2000 block of Barry Road.
Theft: Cash and property, all valued at more than $300, were stolen Monday from an office building in the 200 block of North Point Blvd.
Theft: A 20-inch mountain bicycle valued at $100 was stolen in the 3400 block of Yorkway on Monday.
Stolen vehicle: A 1975 Ford Ranger with tags 87F 715 was stolen from Stillwater Road near Dunfield Road on Sunday.
Burglary: Clothing valued at $300, jewelry worth $500 and a safe containing $700 were stolen Monday from a house in the 8800 block of Blairwood Road.
Burglary: Computer equipment valued at $7,000 was stolen between Dec. 4 and Monday from HealthSouth Spine Center of Baltimore in the 7500 block of Osler Drive.
Burglary: Cash, a camera and a radio were stolen from the bedroom of a house in the 6400 block of York Road on Monday.
Burglary: A 19-inch TV and two videotapes were stolen Monday from a townhouse in the first block of Neptune Court.
