Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Theft: A woman, 33, was in the 3600 block of Victor St. about 5 p.m. Sunday when a man stole her purse containing keys, cash and personal items, all valued at $200.
Cutting: Police were seeking a woman, 38, who stabbed a man, 45, in the chest during an incident about 9 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Mapleleaf Court. The man was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Robbery: A man, 23, was in the 1500 block of E. Chase St. about 12: 20 a.m. Sunday when two men, one with a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun, robbed him of more than $600 and a gold ring studded with diamonds, valued at $500.
Assault: After a man, 18, dropped a woman off at her home in the 5200 block of Craig Ave. about 4: 40 a.m. Sunday, someone fired several shots at him, shattering the rear window of his 1998 Ford Escort. The man was not injured.
Robbery/arrests: A man, 21, was standing at a bus stop in the 2400 block of W. Belvedere Ave. near Sinai Hospital on Friday when three male teens knocked him to the ground and robbed him of more than $20. The robbery was witnessed by a hospital security officer, who called police. A short time later, police arrested two 14-year-olds and an 18-year-old man near the hospital and charged them with assault and robbery.
North Point Precinct
Robbery/arrests: Two males, 23 and 17, were arrested Sunday and charged with stealing more than $80 from a driver for Monarch Taxi in the 2800 block of North Point Road. After the cabbie took the pair to a food store in Essex, where they cashed a forged check, the passengers were driven back to the 1900 block of Larkhall Road. One of them grabbed $60 from the driver, who had taken the cash from a pocket to make change. Both passengers fled. Later, police arrested two men and charged them with stealing the cabbie's money and failure to pay a $27 cab fare.
Vandalism: Someone broke several windows at Battle Grove Elementary School in the 7800 block of St. Patricia Lane on Sunday night, causing $200 damage.
Burglary: A stereo system and 10 compact discs, all valued at $300, were stolen from a house in the 2600 block of Taylor Ave. overnight Saturday.
