Chamber plans mixer with trade council

The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce will hold a joint business mixer with the Anne Arundel Trade Council from 5: 30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. Thursday at Big Vanilla Athletic Club.

The cost is $10 in advance, $13 at the door, and $20 for nonmembers.

Y2K seminar to include diskette for computer test

Anne Arundel Trade Council and the Greater Annapolis Chamber of Commerce will jointly sponsor a "Y2K Seminar" from 8: 30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the Days Inn, 2520 Riva Road, in Annapolis.

The seminar includes a continental breakfast. Attendees will receive a free diskette to test their IBM-compatible personal computers.

Trade Council sponsors monthly breakfast meeting

The Anne Arundel Trade Council will hold its monthly Power Breakfast Network from 7: 30 to 9: 30 a.m. Dec. 16, at the Holiday Inn, 210 Holiday Court in Annapolis.

The Power Breakfast Network includes informal networking and breakfast, presentations by three Trade Council members and an opportunity to network among other business members.

Cost is $17 in advance, $20 at the door, and $25 for nonmembers.
