Mary A. Benjamin, 93, one of the country's foremost collectors and dealers of autographs, died Monday in Hunter, N.Y. A cause of death was not given.
Nicknamed "The Autograph Lady-USA," she was owner of the country's oldest autograph and manuscript dealership, Walter R. Benjamin Autographs.
Anthony Salvatore, 77, a Grammy Award-winning music recording engineer, died Nov. 18 in Hackensack, N.J. He won Grammys for recordings of "Lohengrin" in 1966, "Sweeney Todd" in 1979 and "The Heifetz Collection" in 1995.
Samuel E. Shapiro, 84, who co-founded the National Record Mart chain with his younger brother, died in Wilkinsburg, Pa., on Sunday of heart failure, four months after his brother and business partner, Howard Shapiro, died at age 82.

Cleopa, 87, the charismatic Romanian monk persecuted by communists and admired by pilgrims, died Wednesday in Bucharest, Romania. He was 87.
Hounded by the Securitate communist secret police, who feared his popular appeal, Cleopa fled to the forest in 1953 and built an underground den, where he lived in hiding for almost a decade.
He was best known for his understanding of ordinary people's problems and his healing words. Tens of thousands sought his advice, both under communism and in the years of hardship that followed the toppling of communist rule in 1989.

His most recent well-known client was the Fred Goldman family, in its civil lawsuit against O.J. Simpson over the slaying of Mr. Goldman's son Ron along with Nicole Brown Simpson.
