Running backs
Priest Holmes ran hard and became more decisive hitting the holes in the second half, but he needs to work on his hands in pass receiving. Roosevelt Potts had an average day blocking and needs to drive more after initial contact. -- C+
Quarterback
Jim Harbaugh got off to a slow start but made some good reads and progressed as the game went on. He connected on some long passes, which isn't his forte, and was in charge of the tempo the entire game. -- B
Receivers
After some early drops, the Ravens got solid performances from Floyd Turner and James Roe. Eric Green continues to show why he is the best blocking tight end in the game, and Jermaine Lewis stretched the Colts' defense before he got injured. -- C+
Offensive linemen
This group also started slowly, but its size wore down the Colts in the second half. Pass protection was excellent and the unit got strong efforts from center Wally Williams, right guard Jeff Blackshear and left tackle Jonathan Ogden. -- B-
Defensive linemen
The team needs to get better run defense from ends Rob Burnett and Michael McCrary. Reserve tackle Larry Webster has to play better to give starters Tony Siragusa and James Jones more rest from the physical play inside. -- D
Linebackers
One way to beat the Ravens is to get them in one-on-one coverage because middle linebacker Ray Lewis and outside linebacker Peter Boulware are below average in coverage. Lewis had 10 tackles, but a lot of them were 5-6 yards downfield. -- D
Defensive backs
Veteran Rod Woodson has shown his age in the last two games and rookie Duane Starks has shown his inexperience. The best cornerback the past two weeks has been nickel back DeRon Jenkins. Safeties Stevon Moore and Corey Harris never make it over in time to break up long plays. -- F
Special teams
Believe it or not, these were the best units on the field with Harris returning five kickoffs for 193 yards. The Ravens also blocked a field-goal try and Matt Stover was 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts. -- A
