The 1999 Carroll County Farm Service Agency Committee election ballots have been mailed to farmland owners and operators in the Silver Run, Manchester and Hampstead areas.

Nominees for the committee are: Gregory Dell, Nevin Garvick, Herdis Moser, Charles H. Schaefer II, Helen Viola Seiler and Paul L. Sellers.

Those eligible to vote are asked to choose only one candidate. Ballots must be returned to the FSA office by Tuesday.

The county committee is the local farmer's link with federal agriculture programs and reflects the community's needs and concerns.

Farmers or operators who did not receive a ballot can call the FSA office at 410-848-2780, Ext. 2, or stop by the office at 1004 Littlestown Pike, Suite C.
