Howard County State's Attorney Marna L. McLendon gave her successful re-election campaign a $10,000 boost with a personal loan in the final weeks before the November election.
Overall, the Republican put $26,000 of her own money into her campaign, which raised $46,000, according to a finance report filed this week.
Her Democratic opponent, Timothy J. McCrone of Ellicott City, raised $30,700 and did not use any of his own money.
McLendon spent $16,200 on several TV ads -- almost twice as much as McCrone.
