UMBC (1-3) outscored the Greyhounds 8-2 to grab a 37-36 second-half advantage with 17: 45 remaining on freshman Amie Laasen's layup. The Greyhounds (2-0) erased their final deficit by outscoring UMBC 37-16 over the last 14: 43.
Hampton 76, Maryland 57: Freshman Bridgit Phillips scored a career-high 31 points as Hampton defeated the Terps at Cole Field House.
Maryland (0-4) cut Hampton's lead to 10 on three occasions, but the defense of the Pirates (2-1) and Phililps' six three-pointers overwhelmed Maryland.
Towson 69, Fairleigh Dickinson 62: Forward Shniece Perry registered a double-double (18 points, 13 rebounds) to pace the Tigers (2-0) past the Knights (1-2).
The Knights were outrebounded for the first time this season, 56-40.
UMES 85, Temple 69: Kristi Sheldon led four double-digit scorers with 22 as the Hawks breezed past the visting Owls. Nicole Chaszar led Temple with 17.
Georgetown 104, Mount St. Mary's 80: Katie Smrcka-Duffy scored 32 as the Hoyas (2-2) pulled away late in the game to post a victory over Mount St. Mary's (1-3).
The 104 points were the most conceded by the Mountaineers since a 116-92 loss at North Carolina in February 1989, and the most ever given up at Knott Arena.
Johns Hopkins 74, Swarthmore 59: Leslie Ritter scored a game-high 22 points, and Marjahna Segers and Kathleen Fitzgerald added 12 apiece to lead the Blue Jays over the host Garnet Tide.

American 97, Western Maryland 60: Matt Brown scored 14 points and Bryan Wynn came off the bench with 13, as host American opened the season 3-1 for the first time since 1989.
The 37-point margin fell short of AU's largest win ever -- 61 points over Marymount in 1995.
Franklin & Marshall 63, St. Mary's 60: The Diplomats extended a three-point lead -- 59-56 -- in the final seven seconds as Mark Sadowski went 4-for-4 from the line to lift Franklin & Marshall (2-1) over the Sea Hawks (0-1).
Salisbury State 100, Washington College 94: Greg Adams scored a career-high 32 points to power the Sea Gulls (1-2) past the visiting Shoremen (1-2).
Victor Jackson led Salisbury with 18.
Marymount 105, Villa Julie 71: Terry Hoffman scored 14 as the Saints (2-1) won a commanding decision over the visiting Mustangs (0-3).
Ayinda Edwards led Villa Julie with 16.
Baltimore City CC 74, Frederick 72: Down 69-60 with four minutes to go, Baltimore City Community College went on a scoring run led by Lee Reliford, who scored five of his 27 in the span, to power the Red Devils (2-0) past the visiting Cougars in a Maryland JuCo League game.
