Fires
Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from Pleasant Valley, Westminster and Littlestown, Pa., responded at 8: 07 a.m. Saturday to a house fire in the 700 block of Yorkminster Lane. The fire started in the master bedroom when bedding came in contact with a light fixture. Firefighters confined the fire to the bedroom and estimated damage at $15,000. Units were out 90 minutes for cleanup and investigation.
New Windsor: Firefighters from New Windsor, Union Bridge and Winfield responded at 9: 33 p.m. Friday to a chimney fire in the 2300 block of Marston Road. Units were out 43 minutes.
Union Bridge: Firefighters responded at 8: 08 a.m. Friday to a brush fire at Good Intent and Houck roads. Units were out 21 minutes.
