Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Northwestern District

Arson: Someone set fire to a rowhouse in the 4800 block of Pimlico Road on Wednesday night, causing more than $9,000 damage. No injuries were reported.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 16-year-old male was in the 800 block of N. LTC Lakewood Ave. about 9: 30 p.m. Tuesday when two youths, one with a semi-automatic handgun, robbed him of a small sum of money. Police spotted a man suspected of being one of the robbers in the 800 block of N. Luzerne Ave. and arrested him. The resident of the 1000 block of N. Kenwood Ave. was charged with armed robbery.

Robbery: Two men in their early 20s robbed the Guilford Food Market in the 300 block of E. 24th St. of more than $100 about 1 p.m. Wednesday. During the incident, the robbers assaulted an employee with their fists.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer valued at $4,000 was stolen Wednesday from a 1995 Honda Civic parked in the 100 block of W. 23rd St.

Robbery: Two men, one with a sawed-off shotgun, robbed Sav-A-Lot, a store in the 2000 block of Maryland Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 8: 30 p.m. Wednesday.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 7800 block of E. Collingham Drive on Wednesday and stole 10 pieces of Sheetrock home insulation valued at $80.

Theft: Someone removed a bank card from a vehicle parked in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. on Nov. 1 and used it to withdraw $100 from the owner's account.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 24-inch pearl necklace, a watch and computer equipment all valued at more than $10,000 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 13800 block of York Road in Sparks.

Arrests: Police have arrested three youths in the death of Rodney Grant, 43, of the 1800 block of Ramsay St., a former Marine who was stomped and beaten with a piece of a stove Oct. 23 in the 4600 block of Park Heights Ave. and died at Sinai Hospital five days later. Detective Bill Ritz said Derrick Davis, 18, of the 3100 block of Sumter Ave. was arrested yesterday, and Marc A. Echols, 16, of the 4100 block of Garrison Blvd. and Antwan T. Gaines, 14, of the 4600 block of Pimlico Road were arrested last week. All are charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center. A fourth youth was being sought.
