Mary Mildred Scott, 85, West Baltimore homemaker

Mary Mildred Scott, a West Baltimore homemaker, died Thursday of undetermined causes at Dulaney-Towson Nursing Home. She was 85.

A native of New Windsor in Carroll County, the former Mary Thompson married Samuel Scott in 1938 and they settled in West Baltimore. Mr. Scott died in 1989.

Mrs. Scott enjoyed sewing, cooking, singing and playing the piano.

Services are set for 10: 30 a.m. Saturday at Maryland Church of God in Christ, 5100 Denmore Ave.

She is survived by four sons, Samuel Scott Jr., John A. Scott and Charles A. Scott, all of Baltimore, and Elizah J. Scott of Atlanta; three daughters, Peggy A. West, Sandra Requer and Lydia Berry, all of Baltimore; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
