Amy Seitz has been appointed marketing and communications manager for Howard County Economic Development Authority. She will be responsible for strategic marketing and communications programs and the authority's Business Resource Center.

Rodney E. Reed, formerly a consumer lender and assistant treasurer with Citizen's Bank, has been hired as assistant vice president/consumer lender by CFBank (Commercial & Farmers), a community bank based in Howard County. He will be responsible for consumer lending policies. The Laurel resident will be based at the bank's main office in Ellicott City.
