Republican incumbent Marna L. McLendon was declared the official winner of the Howard County state's attorney race Friday after gaining another 104 votes.
The final count, election officials said, is: McLendon, 39,010; Timothy J. McCrone, 38,916. The vote tallies reflected the last absentee and overseas ballots, as well as some regular ballots counted by hand.
On election night, Nov. 3, McCrone was leading by 166 votes. But absentee ballots counted two days later gave McLendon a 115-vote lead over the Democrat.
