Salisbury falls short in finale, 52-45

WAYNE, N.J. -- Alsiene Washington rushed 30 times for 224 yards and four touchdowns to power host William Paterson past Salisbury State, 52-45, last night in the Sea Gulls' season finale.

Salisbury State ends its season at 3-7, losing seven of its final eight games.

The Pioneers (3-7) trailed the first three quarters before going on a 23-7 fourth-quarter run, sparked by Washington's 17-yard touchdown run to tie the score at 38.
