16-year-old is charged in N. Laurel robbery

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Howard County police have arrested a 16-year-old boy accused of robbing a North Laurel woman Wednesday afternoon.

About 3: 45 p.m., the woman was pushing her child in a stroller on the parking lot of the Weis Markets, 9270 All Saints Road, police said yesterday.

A teen-ager approached the woman, grabbed her purse and pushed over the stroller, police said.

The child was not injured.

The woman and the youth struggled for the purse, spilling its contents, police said, and he fled.

Police arrested a suspect that day and charged him with robbery.
