IT'S A BAZAAR TIME OF the year.
The holiday bazaar season kicks into high gear with three BTC activities in the New Windsor-Marston area of northwest Carroll on Saturday.

If somebody on your gift list favors decorative baskets, try to win one tomorrow night at New Windsor Fire Hall.
Montessori School of Westminster is holding basket bingo at the fire hall on High Street. Doors open at 5: 30 p.m. and games start at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Dinner and snacks will be served.
Citrus fruit sale

The club is taking orders for oranges, tangerines, tangelos and grapefruit. The fruit will be delivered to Taneytown Shopping Center on Dec. 5.

Cheap eats -- good, inexpensive food for a good cause -- abound in northwest Carroll this weekend.
You can get lunch Saturday at any of the aforementioned bazaars, but if you want turkey, oysters or spaghetti, they are available, too.
Tom's Creek United Methodist Church, on Toms Creek Road between Taneytown and Emmitsburg, will hold a turkey and oyster supper from 1 p.m. to 6: 30 p.m. Saturday.
Cost is $9 for adults, $4.50 for ages 5 to 10 and $9.50 for carryouts. Baked goods and craft items will be sold.
If you plan to eat plenty of turkey in coming months, maybe the spaghetti supper at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in New Windsor is more your taste.
It will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and is sponsored by New Winsor Youth Cluster. Cost is $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for ages 6 to 12.
If you wake up hungry Sunday morning, a pancake breakfast is planned at Union Bridge Fire Hall on Locust Street.
Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for ages 6 to 12.
