While putting together a five-year action plan for children with special care needs, state staffers have identified several areas that need work, including training, education and expanding the network of health services. Parents and others who want to comment on the strategy can attend one of three hearings being held around the state:
Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Allegany Community College in Cumberland.
Monday from 5: 30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. at 300 W. Preston St. in Baltimore.
Nov. 19, from 5: 30 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. at 101 Monroe St. in Rockville.
