ANNE ARUNDEL voters are being asked to approve three housekeeping amendments to the county charter. When next the charter is rewritten, sections such as these should be eliminated. It would be more appropriate for the council to decide such administrative procedures. But until then, Anne Arundel voters should vote FOR ballot questions A, B and C.
Question A involves new methods of accounting inventory in county government's central warehouse.
Questions B and C would allow the council to appoint an independent firm to conduct state-required audits of special taxing districts, which now total 45 in the county, and county agencies. To help ensure fiscal integrity, voters should approve Questions B and C.
