Prado wins six at Laurel Jockey comes within one of Baltazar's track record

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Jockey Edgar Prado came within one winner of the Laurel Park record with six on yesterday's 10-race card.

Prado scored with Catch as Catch Can ($2.80) in the first, Forlabid ($8.40) in the third, Red Mischief ($3) in the sixth, Mispillion ($5.80) in the seventh, Cry of the Loon ($16) in the eighth and Musical Paces ($3.60) in the 10th.

The single-day Laurel record is held by Chuck Baltazar, who had seven straight on Dec. 15, 1969.

Prado was an easy winner of the Colonial Downs riding title when that meeting concluded earlier this month.
