EDGEWOOD -- An Edgewood man was in police custody yesterday, suspected of shooting and killing his brother, the Harford County sheriff's office said.

Michael Alan Bennett, 42, was charged with first-degree murder and was held in the county Detention Center without bail. He is charged with shooting Wayne Charles Bennett, 47, with a shotgun at their home in the 2200 block of Snow Road. Police believe Michael Bennett called 911 shortly after the incident about 12: 30 a.m. yesterday.

The sheriff's office is investigating the cause of the shooting. Their spokesman said preliminary information indicates the brothers had been feuding.
