Police yesterday identified two men fatally shot Monday in East Baltimore as Melvin Antoine Small, 24, of the 2900 block of E. Monument St., and Lashawn Robinson, 19, of the 200 block of N. Milton Ave.

Detective Marvin Sydnor of the homicide squad said Small, Robinson and a third man were standing in the 700 block of N. Milton Ave. at Monument Street about 9: 35 p.m. when a gunman approached and shot all three.

Sydnor said Small and Robinson died at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where the third man was in critical condition last night.
