THE BALTIMORE SUN

Howard County police have issued an arrest warrant for a 37-year-old man accused of robbing a photo store at the Harper's Choice Village Center and taking a woman's purse at the Long Reach Village Center this month.

Wanted is Derrick Anthony Fields, who police believe is living in Baltimore.

Fields has roots in Howard County, including a past address in the 800 block of Blue Pool in Long Reach, said Sgt. Morris Carroll, a spokesman for the Police Department.

Police have issued warrants for Fields in the purse-snatching, which occurred Oct. 10, and the robbery at the photo store Oct. 13.

Carroll said police also are investigating Fields in connection with four convenience store robberies in the county in recent weeks.
