State police are looking for a man who fled a NationsBank in Mount Airy on Friday after robbing the bank of an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured in the 11: 20 a.m. incident in the 1300 block of S. Main St., police said.

The man entered the branch office and handed a teller a note, demanding money. After she handed him the money, he ran out of the bank, police said.

The investigation is continuing, police said.
