Parts of Route 3, or Crain Highway, will be repaved starting today through next spring.

The $1 million project will resurface the road from Crawford and Cronson boulevards to north of Route 424.

Single-lane closures will be from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sundays to Thursdays. Shoulder closings will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. The State Highway Administration will put up signs and traffic cones to alert motorists.

The contract was awarded to Reliable Contracting Inc. of Millersville.
