THE BALTIMORE SUN

Howard County police suspect the same robber struck a Harper's Choice Village Center photo shop and later an Elkridge convenience store Tuesday.

About 2 p.m., a man entered the Uni-Photo Developing Studio at the village center, implied he had a weapon and demanded money, police said. The man fled with about $200, police said.

Eight hours later, a man entered the High's Dairy Store in the 6500 block of Huntshire Drive and demanded money, police said.

A clerk gave him $20 and several packs of cigarettes, police said.

Police are looking for a black man, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build, and who was wearing a dark skullcap.

Detective Steve Lampe is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.
