Volunteers from Maryland's 23 counties and Baltimore will be honored as the state's "Most Beautiful People" at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Francis Scott Key Auditorium, at St. John's College in Annapolis.

The Rev. Sharon Smith will be mistress of ceremonies at the annual event sponsored by the state's "Maryland, You Are Beautiful" program.

Panels of local judges choose the volunteers.
