Alfred Myers Jr., 18, and Chase Carpintieri, 11, two Middle River youths who were involved in an automobile accident that killed their brothers and another youth, were released Saturday from Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said yesterday.

According to Baltimore County police, Myers lost control of the 1985 Ford Mustang he was driving east in the 11800 block of Eastern Ave. and crashed into woods about midnight Friday.

Corey Butler, 16; Angelo Carpintieri, 14; and Daniel Myers, 12, died at the scene, police said.

Another victim, Brandon Johnson, 11, was in fair and stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Children's Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.

The accident occurred two blocks from the victims' homes in the Whispering Woods development, police said.

Police said investigators believe excessive speed, rain and poor road conditions contributed to the accident.

Police said Alfred Myers, who graduated from Perry Hall High School in June, and Corey, a junior at the school, had picked up the other victims from Skateland North Point and were on their way home when the accident occurred.
