Colonial music duo to perform free at Anne Arundel Community College

Never heard the lute played? Then visit Anne Arundel Community College at 8 p.m. today for a free Colonial music performance by local artists David and Ginger Hildebrand. "Music and Culture of Colonial America" showcases the sounds of the 18th century with whimsical and serious songs.

Red Cross blood drive

You can help the Red Cross and see Bram Stoker's "Dracula" at 8 p.m. tomorrow at Anne Arundel Community College at the Pasadena Theatre Company.

The $15 tickets will benefit the Red Cross. The audience can meet the cast and make blood donation pledges at a champagne reception afterward. The show will run weekends through Oct. 25. Information: 410-760-5448 or 410-969-1801.

Concert at St. John's

Take a musical trip around the world and through eight centuries at 7 p.m. Sunday with a visit to St. John's College to hear the group Hesperus. The group, with a repertoire that ranges from medieval estampie to Chicago blues, opens the college's concert series, Music in the Great Hall.
