Sykesville-Freedom District Fire Department will hold a fire prevention open house from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the firehouse on Route 32 at Freedom Avenue.

Activities will include firetruck rides, a Sesame Street puppet show, "Get Low and Go" for children, auto fire and auto rescue demonstrations, and appearances by Hector the Fire Safety Clown and his dog Tag, McGruff the Crime Dog and Crash Dummies Vince and Larry.
